How to choose between a dataset and a custom run
Ready-made datasets are cheaper and faster to start. Custom runs fit when you need a source we do not cover yet.
Most teams start with a ready-made dataset: the schema is fixed, the source is maintained, and you pay per 1,000 results.
Pick a dataset when
The source and fields you need already exist in the catalogue.
You want a stable schema across many sites.
You are fine with the listed update frequency.
Ask for a custom run when
The source is not covered yet.
You need fields that are not in the schema.
You need delivery to your own bucket on a fixed schedule.
